About the Tour

Enjoy a half day (4-4.5 hours) small group wildlife and whale watching tour departing from downtown Friday Harbor. These tours accommodate no more than 16 guests on each excursion.

Our 4 – 4.5 hour, small group tours offer more time on the water than our 3 hour tours for those seeking a more in depth experience exploring the Salish Sea’s dynamic ecosystem. The more time we spend on the water the more we will see, and a half day gives us extra flexibility and geographic range to experience a wider variety of wildlife. We will explore pristine habitats as we search for a variety of wildlife, including different species of whales that may be in the area on any given day.  

You will be part of a small group of passengers for the most intimate experience possible. There's plenty of elbow room and no competition for prime viewing space.

Departure Location
These tours depart from downtown Friday Harbor next to the ferry landing, offering a convenient departure location for day visitors to the island and overnight guests staying in or near town. Please plan to check in at our office 30 minutes prior to departure time..
